Blood Elf Rogue, tips?

Atm I have a lvl 22 Blood Elf Rogue and it is my first WoW char, besides my trial Troll Hunter but he don't count, and I was wondering if you guys have any tips. I basically have all of my talent points in Combat atm for questing, but I was thinking of remaking and putting them into Sublety after a raid I got caught in the middle of at Tarren Mill. Human Rogues starting popping out of no where behind people and killing them in no time then turning on me and taking off. I mean, all of this lasted around 4 seconds. Right now I'm just looking to lvl and I heard that Combat talents are the best for that, but idk.

Do you guys have any tips for my talent trees?

I was also thinking of mining/engineering, mining/blacksmithing, or skinning/leatherworking. What do you think?

ok Some things to keep in mind when choosing a spec. What you want to be doing, what weapons you want to be using. Now my rogues name is Shevis from Ysondre. At first low lvl i was Subtlety PvP spec the one that says 42/4/25 is what i lvled in because i did Battlegrounds and i liked if i only had to kill one thing i only had to do that i could just sneak by. Now im in my raiding spec because im lvl 80 and you dont need PvP spec to get gear anymore. Since the new Duel Spec i have been able to have both and its awsume.

If you want to be weild swords i would go with Combat and if Subtlety or Assiassination go Daggers because there fast.

For Professions for a rogue i would go Skinning and Leatherworking because one skinning gives you more Crit once you lvl it. And leatherworking because you can make gear from the Elemental Leatherworking once you get high nuff and theres some beast stuff in there.

I have recently found this site but im going to start helping people with all their classes since i have been playing all of them right now i have all of my alts at lvl 40+ every class because what ever my guild needs i want to be playing so i can help out as much as possible right now.
