are DK's any good

i now have a lev 48 pally on drak'thul and i was wondering if i should just keep him or if a dk was worth checking out

Deathknights are very fun to level and play, they've suffered conciderable nerfs. But if you haven't played them in their former glory it's nothing you'll notice.

Just to let you know since your post i have built a DK lev 60 and i love him there are so many possiblities with the death knight and in my opinion they are the best thing blizzard has done (cataclysm may change my opinion) and thank you for your post

Death knights arent well-respected commonly called DEath Noobs. But the epic storyline is truly awesome and the talents/spells/abilities are truly amazing and fun to use. It'd be a good choice if you're just bored.

Death Knights are very good, infact if you know how to play them they are very very good. :P

DKs are the fastest levelers out there, next to hunters. If you're a loner and want to hit 80 fast, go blood talent spec. And pvp wise they sure can be a pain in the neck.
