Great job! Glad to hear you finally got in there. Hopefully, they start making you a main or sub for either that Kara group or one of the others.

That's what I'm hoping, that I can become a regular. If I can get regular runs in those badges will pile up quickly.

Well I finally started my first Kara run last night! One of our guilds groups were short a couple so I stepped in as dps. Apparently this was a seasoned bunch of players but as a group we were new.

We got through Attumen and Moroes with no problems. When we got to Maiden, thats where we started having trouble and we whiped 4 times but finally got her.

Next in the Opera event we lost one of our two tanks so guess who had to OT? I did. I had actually gotten some epic gear for a feral set so I put that to use, we got Romeo and Juliette so after they were both down for the first time I took Juliette while our warrior took Romeo. Next we had Curator which we took down no problem. Then for the final boss of the night we went for Shade. Even our GM said we'd probably wipe once or twice before we clear him but even with my death we downed him on the first go. I guess we'll pick it up on Monday night to clear the rest.

How good does Kara feel?
I still feel great after we have done a good guild run through

Yeh...there are a few bosses that will cause a wipe a couple of times in many new guild runs through and normally I think its just getting used to the fight and the way the fight progresses.

The ones I normally see a wipe or two with are Aran (mainly because ppl forget DONT MOVE during flame wreath), netherspite (because the beams are a bitch to get a grasp of...I still struggle sometimes)
Prince (Its the damn infernals!!!!!!!) and then of course Nightbane (because ppl need to STOP CASTING, when he is in landing phase) apart from that....it sahouldnt take long to learn each fight.

Man....I havent had romulus and juliette in ages!!!!!!!
The last 3 times I have done kara we have had the wizard of oz....and damn Im over the crone, she drops nothing good for me

i am cursed in terms of opera event. ive run it at least 10 times and every single time its been romulo and juliette o well i know how to do it well now

DBM helped a lot with the don't move part, though I knew not to move beforehand. Guess I'll get to experience the rest of them tomorrow night.

Yup yup..its all experience and thew only way you get that is buy doing the runs
I read alot about each fight before I did kara the first time aswell.

We got big bad wolf last time, tank charged and was litterly turned into little red mid charged and pretty much one shotted before anyone even noticed. TS was hilarious as our main tank is well known for "going" as he puts it while were strill drinking, his catch phrase is "mana is for newbs" and "pros spec bandages anyway and I brought all my own pots". If the guild bank didnt pay his repair bills he might be more carefull but it aint a CBK event without atleast one wipe.

Ahahaha! It must be a main tank thing because we have one like that to...hes the best tank I have ever had and hes a fantastic players...but sometimes he like to push the boundaries just to see how much we can handle.
Yeh...we have had a few good wipes at his expense, but its all good fun
Mind you...he did it about 5 times in kara once....we made him pay for all our repair bills and mine was 34 G

Well I finished up kara tonight. We downed Prince in one shot but whiped on Nightbane and then people had to leave so we didn't get to down him. Everything else went well though and I got a couple more pieces of loot out of it.

I love Nightbane....I think the undead flying mount should look like Nightbane...we get a skeletal horse, so why not a skeletal flying mount???

Night bane is easy...This is what our vent chat sounds like while doing this fight.

"Ok hes in landing phase...everyone stop casting..NOONE CAST ANYTHING NOWWWWW!!"
