Now that the attunement quests are no longer required I will probably be running Karazhan for the first time very soon. I was wondering if there were any guides or videos that you would suggest I look at before my first time? I will be running with an experienced bunch but I still don't want to look like a noob. Thanks for any help.
Id say just youtube a "how to" then the boss name. Most fights are fairly straight forward and ppl will tell everyone what to do before it, but having some back knowledge is always helpful
Curse gaming has a set of three videos from the point of view of a feral (dps) druid about the bosses of Kara that I thought were pretty good. They're kinda funny (they're all sped up quite a bit, and one of them has the image mirrored), but they do give the general idea about what you need to do for the bosses.
Oh sweet, thanks. Hopefully they'll be up soon, I'd definitely like to watch those. I'll also take your advice Blackanger and just watch some youtube vids.
A lil off topic but OMG, im about to go back into kara for like the 3rd time now... Ive only healed and DPS shadowed it, but never with a fury warrior, should be fun. I know all the melee strats for all the fights just cause i ran it so much with healers i see and heard all the strats for everyone millions of times, so not too worried. Im more excited than ne thing.
Our guild is running Kara with 2 teams weekly now and I remeber when we first started, it was so exciting!
It still is really.....I still love kara.
Im from a smallish guild that was founded one night by a group of my realy life friends after a few drinks.....its grown over the months and I have to say that getting a group of 10 together, over vent for the first "real" 70 raid in the game, really brings a guild together.....its all about cooperation and fun.
Kara brings many fond memories to me.
Hopefully we will be moving on soon though, Id like more challenges now
just ran a pug kara tonight cause i was bored. We downed attune, moroses, maiden, curator, opera, shade, and chess. we were gonna do prince but ppl were getting tired. I got [Saberclaw Talisman] but i think my pvp neck is a little better. oh and i got 13 badges out of it, so it was a fun run. not bad for a pug.
Wow, I actually did the same thing, running a PUG Kara last night. We downed Curator, Aran, Illhoof, Chess and Prince, and tried a few times on Netherspite, but couldn't kill him. It was also my first Kara run where we actually got anywhere. During that, I got a [Gilded Thorium Cloak], so it was well worth off tanking there.
