How difficult do you think the quest chain for unlocking a Death Knight should be? One user on the official forums suggested making it like the Champion of the Naaru title, so only the most prestigious players can play as them. I think this is stupid because Death Knights are Blizz's big sell point in WotLK and if hardly any players can play as them that would make a lot of people unhappy. I also don't think you should have to do raid content in the chain because some players aren't in a raiding guild.
Oh really? I would ask where you heard it but I assume its from a forum post which are impossible to find. Well I'll keep my eyes open for any news on this. Thats kind of good and bad if they are doing it like you say.
Actually, I heard it on an interview with one of the people working on WotLK (can't remember his name or where I saw the video, though). So I'm pretty sure that's what happening.
Oh ok, that might be right because I haven't gotten around to watching Blizzcast 2 yet so maybe it was on there. Well I'm sure I'll be happy its like that when the game comes out, if its <= 70 then I'll be able to create a Death Knight right off the bat.
Well, I know it wasn't Blizzcast, since it had an actual video stream going along with it, and Blizzcast is just sound (since its a podcast). Anyways, for some reason, level 55 seems to stick out as the level they mentioned, but its been a while since I saw the video so I could be remembering funny.
