NEW PLAYER here! Urgent Need of HELP

Hi! I would like to play WOW but I don't know where to download and how to pay for this game. I just read that it's PAY to PLAY. I'm used to playing Free to Play games but WOW really impressed me with its graphics and overall appeal.

If someone can give me any information or links please reply to this thread.

If you haven't found out already:

You buy WoW from any game store. There are 2 expansions to the game itself and you can't experience the whole game until you have all of them. But I encourage anyone I refer to the game to just buy the original game first to see if they like it. The things you'll be missing out on, however, are things like Blood Elves (on Horde) and Draini (on Alliance), A few areas for the Blood Elf and Draini, The Death Knight race, you wont have access to Outlands or Northrend, and you will have a level cap of 60 vs 80 with all the expansions.

This is not to say that you should drop the almost $100 US to get all of the content. I actually ADVISE you strongly to get the original game and just see if you like it before dropping all that money on it.

As for the Pay-to-play feature. You either give Blizzard a credit card and have a monthly payment or you buy the $15 US for pre-paid time cards that you just use on your Battle.net account (which you must have to play).

World of warcraft is a game which you buy from retail stores such as the warehouse for example. It is boxed like any other pc game you would come across. One bought install and patch the game. (Patching will do automatically but can take some time)
Once patched go online to the world of warcraft offical website and search for the register a battlenet account. Fill in the terms of the battlenet and it should ask you to enter a blizzard game code. With your boxed edition of the world of warcraft game which you brought, there should be a cd product activation code, enter this key in the battlenets request and your boxed unique code shall be the entrance for your world of warcraft account. Now you need to pay for the game. In order to do this you have different options. All the instructions you shall need are found on the offical world of warcraft website. Search around and good luck!
