Arena Teams

Who here is on an arena team? How does your team usually do? Do you think its worth it for the arena rewards? I'm curious because I've never done arena but the season 3 gear for druids looks pretty sweet so I'm not sure if I should look into it once I get geared up or just stick to regular bg pvp.

I've got a 3v3 team on my Pally, but I've never actually been in an arena battle, so I can't say what its like. I'd say just stick to normal BG pvp, but I'm not a pvper at all, so I can't really say.

Well since my uncle and I both have our complete s1 set (still working on vindicator) we're going to start doing some 2v2. Won't be able to start for a couple of days but I'm interested to see how well we do, I think he has done it before on another toon but I have never done arena before. Rogue and Druid is probably a pretty good combo so we'll see.

Im on all 3 arena teams and I would say the rewards are worth it. Even if u only do 10 games a week, ever couple months ull get an s3 piece. Our 2v2, and 3v3 team go pretty much even, but were working on getting better. Its pretty fun if u ask me.

When my brother gets to 70 I'll see if they want to do a 3v3. Warrior, rogue and druid is probably pretty solid.

If ur restro u might do decently but if ur feral or balance(lol) then u wont do so well. BTW im new to this website

Well I am specced for balance but in that group I would heal, I'm still a pretty decent healer.

I also did some 5v5 for the first time last week...we didn't do very well, lets just say that.

I'm in one. Made one for fun with my friend. He has less than 100 resi, I have around 250. But enhancement shamans aren't the best in arena. Got a good friend off the best guild in our server to join though. It is helping a lot. Inspite of him being an enhancement shaman as well. Low rating - s3.. Speaks for itself

Yeah good veteran arena players can definitely help no matter what class they are.

Im aproaching 400 resi on my priest now and im in a 2v2 and a 5v5. The 2v2 we won 90% of our games untill about 1850 rating at which point we started to come against dual DPS full S3 teams and got seriously owned. The 5 v 5 hasnt been working out so well, weve had a lot of different members in team and weve struggled to get everyone together for a full 10 match run some weeks (many of us work shifts so ocasionally we dont see each other so much).
You have to remember arena is all about experience (you have to very quickly identify your strategy for matchups and that takes time for all the team to learn). Its also a lot of luck, some days you will get even matched teams and do fairly and other days your going to be chain farmed by teams in full S3 gear over and over and find your rating has been destroyed.
Also on my battlegroup there has been a lot of rating boosting going on at lower brackets which I think really sucks for the community as a whole. I can imagine some player are put of for life when experienced well geared teams are chain owning them at 1400 rating just to boost there mates.
