Flying Mounts in Northrend

Look what I just found!



Info was found at World of Raids. Here's to hoping that its a new engineering mount. That would make my week. As long as I can make one without the side car. I hate side cars on motorcycles.

EDIT: Also, a video of it in action on a private server (so its going faster than it should be, and its only the model, not a character riding it) can be found here. This makes me very happy.

ok here is whats going to happen in WotLK concerning flying mounts in Northrend. You dont get to automatically use them at start for 2 reasons. 1. Blizzard wants you to actually experience all the details in the environment instead of flying over it. 2. Like you all guessed, you cant flying in Northrend because it has such cold weather. You need to get to level 77 to learn the riding tech. But the biggest rumor i have heard, and blizz hasnt told us yet, is that the forstwyrm might be a player mount, or just used in a DK quest (You do get to fly a Frostwyrm and kill a ton of scarlet crusade members). Hope this helps

At level 78 you can buy Cold Weather flying ability for 950 gold. It allows you to fly in the extremely harsh weather conditions in Northrend.

what does "a player mount" mean? that only one class would get it? or that everyone can obtain it in some way

sry if this was posted before but i didnt wanna read everything there is a quest u get at 77 78 that allows u to fly in northrend i forgot wat its called tho i think it was arctic flying

It's at 77 and its going to cost 1000g to "ice off" your dragons wins = /
