Class Spec Question

Hey guys,
I am not sure what spec I should go at 70... I have a Paladin at 59 at the moment and since about lv 40 I have been "Protection" spec. I have tried Ret a few times but just like the durability of a Prot pally. I haven't tried Holy yet, and maybe a Healbot at 70 might be ok?

Also I have heard that a Shockadin is fun... Ideas Anyone?

My pally was Prot all the way from 11-70 and I loved it. But it does get boring doing the same thing for that long of a time, so I switched to Ret a few days after hitting 70. Although Ret is not as much fun as Prot was, so I'll be switching back after I get some better gear. I'd say just stay prot, but I'm biased. I already got my priest to 70, so I didn't really want to try another healing class, so I never did holy (or shockadin, since you're still usually stuck healing).

Try them out for yourself, and see if you like them.

Yeah, main prob is the cash, its a bout 25 - 30g for respecs now So might wait till 70 and have epic and/or flying mount.

Holy is definitely what spec other players will want to see you at 70. But its really up to you, since you're low on gold I might stick with your current spec till 70 though. You should have a lot of gold by the time you're 70 I would imagine. And a couple dailies will give you enough to respec.

Your spec will depend on your roll. If you plan to pve your almost gaurenteed to have to spec holy to raid (unless you find a guild that needs a prot pally, however doubtful cause there only usefull compared to a warrior in later content). If you plan on pvping you will also need to go holy if you plan on 5v5ing how ever if u can find a warrior, mage, BM hunter or priest for 2's i would say ret and if u can get a warrior resto shammy for 3's also go ret.

Ultimitly its about what you plan on focusing on once 70.
