Yeah you don't see many of the really good pvpers in bgs that much anymore. Anyways I'm over 8k now, shouldn't be too long till I hit 10k. I've been doing Arathi Basin and Warsong Gulch so those get more hks in general than AV does.

I didnt start pvping really hard till after BC but my hunter currently has about 21000 HK's, lock has 8700 HK's and my rogue is sporting 4000 hk's.

***NOTE****
If arena kills counted you could add atleast another 12000 to my 21000

I think I'm somewhere in the 1000 to 2000 range of honor kills. Might even be up to 3000. I haven't looked at that list in a while, since I'm much more of a raider than a PvPer.
