Do you listen to any music, whilst playing? Or are you more of a silencer? And like to concentrate on the game? Do you prefer to listen in, on the games own music whilst playing a game? Or do you like to listen to your own music, and have it on whilst playing?
I usually have music on while I'm playing WoW, because without it tbh I can get kind of bored. I listen to all kinds of music when I play, sometimes I put the LotR soundtrack in the background and that works pretty well, but I'll listen to anything while playing.
I have often found in my younger player days, that I was too involved in the gaming sounds, that I don't think I could ever listen to any additional music. The sounds coming from the actual game, made that moment more novel to the experience.
Most games I would agree with you that the music the game offers is enough but I've heard the same sounds in WoW so many times that I need something else.
Yeah, I listen to other music while playing. The WoW music got old fast, it really did. Its good music, but its so repetitive that it just gets boring.
I tend to keep the sound on while I game.. But it happens I have some nice music in the background.. Very rare though. My extended hard disc decided to.. give up on life. So now all I'm stuck with is crappy and scratched CDs.
I'm usually on ventrilo when I play WoW, I like talking with my friends whilst playing. When anybody needs help they just ask, we also talk about other games as well. Speaking of which, this forum should get a ventrilo server. It would be a good way of getting to know each other...

Im hardcore on not listening to game sound, i listen to music about 80 percent of the time im playing and vent 20 percent. Might sound corny but i like to listen to different types of music pending of what im doing in game. If im pvping i like to listen to hard music AKA. rammstein, soilwork, in flames. If im grinding or something i like to listen to techno.
