Just bumped into the following, might be interesting to see for any WOW Fan. It was interesting to watch for me, as I was rather unfamiliar with Warcraft. It also gives insight into he's own WOW addiction and how it is affecting he's life, mostly he's mother. Gives general insight on other WOW users, and their own addictions.
First of all, WoW isn't any more violent than most games. I feel similarly, I may seem addicted but I can quit whenever I want, I just don't want to because its not hurting my life. You can't even compare WoW "addiction" to alcoholism or drugs.

It's still an interesting observation nonetheless. Everyone has a choice to do what they feel, be it addiction or not. It's just a classification at the end of the day. Even more so through alcohol and drugs.
Oh no I agree with you. I didn't mean to see snappy at you, I was more responding to what the video talked about.
I didn't mean otherwise. It is nice you captured the overal sentiment of the video.

My pleasure. I found it interesting and enjoyed it too, and I agree that every young person should see this, because it brings some home truths to light.
Videos like this really tick me off. All it does is just add to the stereotype that WoW players are full addicts with no lives
Depends how you look at it. That video just showed the experience of a mother, and her son. What is usually added, is what one perceives, and like you said the video ticks you off, so it must lead you to assume that it adds stereotype, as you say.
