Question Addons question (User Interface)

Hello all,

I was trying to upload some addons to my interface yesterday and I just couldn't figure it out. I downloaded Quest Helper, Atlas, and Titan Panel and saved them to a file folder on my desktop.

Then I logged into the game and went to interface, but I could not for the life of me figure out how to load them. I thought there supposed to be folders in the interface that you extracted these addons to?

If anyone has a link that gives a step by step process on how to load these or maybe can give me a tutorial on the process I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks again.

I think I can help you out on this. Your going to want to move the addon folders you downloaded in your Warcraft directory addon folder. It should be located in C drive -> Program Files -> World of Warcraft -> Interface -> Addons. Put those folders in there then make sure when you are in the logon screen you click the Addon button in the bottom left and make sure they are enabled. Then you should be able to access them in game. Hope this helps!

Thanks a lot for your help. I think I better understand how to do this now. I was looking for these folders in the wrong place.

Hopefully I can get this in working order now.

In actual fact you dont move the files as such you need to extract the zips to the addon folder. Normally after unzipping there is a read me file for each addon to help you configure it aswell.

I think I've gotten everything loaded up ok and all seems to be working. Now I just have to figure out how to use them all.

I loaded Atlas, Atlas loot enhanced, Quest Helper, Titan Panel, and Auctioneer. I think that should do fine for now.

Thanks again for the help.
