Any one have any input? My new found venture of BG's has brought me to a cross roads. Should I move away from my mob killing fire spec to a more PvP oriented spec? Any opinions on what I should change to and how I would use it to my advantage?
I have never done Ice before so its enticing but at the same time a little intimidating. PoM Pyro seems pretty simple but I think it would turn me into a spam-tard. I would go with the simple idea of PoM pyro because I could figure it out pretty easily and it works...sometimes. But the down side is I would give up on trying to expand myself to be more versatile and ultimately uber.
If I were a mage looking for a PvP build I would definitely go Ice. It has the best survivability and cc. The standard pvp build for bgs and arena is 17/0/44. This can be changed around based on personal preference though. Check out different builds and what the best talents are here.
You can always respec when you get your pvp set and want to start raiding if that is the case.
Yup...go frosty.
Personally I think frosties are one of the more dominant in pvp..personally I hate coming up against them.
My bf has a 70 fire mage and he absolutely cleans up in raiding (he always tops dps and we have renamed him the tank mage as he keeps taking aggro) but he admits that if he was going to PVP it would be with a respec to ice.
When played well..they are fantastic in PVP.
So I respecced ICE and I grabbed bongos 3. I redid my whole interface and its freakin awesome! If I have some time tonight I will post a screen shot. I made my interface super simple and that in combination with ice spec is a PvP wet dream.
After adjusting to my new spec and interface and making minor adjustments along the way to my play style and set up I started getting pretty good with the whole thing.
I went with the standard spec that Jeff suggested earlier in this thread and I am an absolute control freak.
OH I AM SORRY YOU WANTED TO BE ABLE TO MOVE??? Woooops you're dead!
I still have a really tough time one on one but I realise that means getting better gear, taking time learning how to spank each different class, and staying away from warlocks lol.But thats ok if I come across some one that I can't take on I just turn them into frozen lamb chops and run away. (thats gotta be irritating as hell)
So far all most 20k honor and about 40 of each mark...! S-2 Here I come!!
eye-catching style. This is the body with clothing with personality, choose a chic Shu Qi neat ponytail style, a reversal of the red carpet or wrap hair or plate made of common law. From clothes to hairstyle, the goddess are different.
comb all the light beam position in the lower ear, the hair straight along in the end, do not leave any volume level and pattern. The only bright spot is the hair bundles of silver hair, full of metallic, bright spot for the whole
