Frostmourne

Do you think we will able to get this item in the game?

My guess is that when you beat Arthas, since his soul is bound to Frostmourne that part of the sword will be destroyed. So basically I think we can get the sword but not near as powerful as its true form.

I think its going to be the quest item you get from him by killing him, like the Verdant Sphere from Kael'thas, or Nefarion's Head from Nefarion. Then you'll turn that in, and get a completely different item, that'll probably still be sweet.

That's probably a good idea, and better since not all classes can use swords. I'd be screwed if it dropped for me and it was a useable item.

I think it would be freakin sweet to have frostmourne as an equiptable item. I would be all over that. However since frostmourne being a named original sword with all kinds of WoW lore that goes into it I think it would be a major blow to the story line if every one was running around with a frostmourne. Amongst the other problems PJ pointed out.

I love the idea of nabbing the sword to turn it in though! Even having it in my backpack for a while would be cool enough for me hehe.

What about the Liche Kings crown? How fun would that be to put on your little noggin!

Hopefully he will drop items for each class similar to how Illidan does.

Usually the "last" boss armor that drops ends up being like some kinda "next tear that is not quite available yet" piece doesnt it? Then they will randomly drop uber weapons or rings that are either GtG or you need some kinda insanely expensive and time consuming quest to activate. That template works fine for me. Well pretty much any one would actually, since I will probably only see Arthas fights on youtube lmao

haha yeah, well I hope to get there in-game eventually. But yes any way they do it will probably be fine with me.

My guess is it may drop but if it does it will be deathknight only restricted kinda like how warglaives are rogue, warrior only and thunderfury is hunter,pally,warrior,rogue only....maybe they let hunters have frostmourn i mean come on im a hunter if i dont have every weapon in the game ill cry =(

Was looking more at Deathknight.info and they have screen shots of a player useing a frostmourn, so to answer the first question it looks pretty definite that once you kill the lick king he'll drop his sword.

Frostmourne will be the first Artifact weapon available to players.
