Season 4 Coming Soon!

Well after weeks of speculation we finally have a set date for Arena Season 4 to be released: June 24, which is coincidentally my birthday. Read below for the announcement.

This exciting Arena season will introduce the Brutal Gladiator set, and will also allow players to purchase Arena Season 2 items using the honor system. Please note that we will be resetting all Arena team and personal ratings. Players will still retain their Arena points and teams with this reset. The team and personal rating will simply be reset to the default 1500, allowing all teams to once again compete for top honors with a fresh start.

Also, with the end of the third season, players on the top teams from each battlegroup will receive their end-of-season rewards. These include Arena-specific titles that they can display proudly until the end of the new season, and, for the best of the best, an Armored Nether Drake. Please also be aware that with the end of the current season, all previous end-of-season titles will be removed.

Its good timing for me, because it was going to take 2 more weeks for me to get my first piece of season 3, now I won't have to spend as many points to get it. I will still probably go for s3 since 4/5 s4 pieces have rating requirements which I probably won't reach.

Heard that earlier today as well. Makes me kinda happy and kinda not. Because of all of the rating requirements, I probably won't get anything beyond S2 gear in S4, so its kinda worthless for me.

However i was rly hoping they would drop the 2200 rating requirment on shoulders...i must admit even some of the best pvpers are going to find that challenging

Yeah I know what you mean, only a couple of the guardian pieces don't have requirements and only the gloves for the brutal gear, I'll probably go for all of those and then get s3 gear with the rest of my arena points.

Yeah that rating is pretty high, definitely not going to see as many players walking around in full brutal like we did with vengeful.

I don't think I could get to 2200 unless I had one of the top warriors on the server partner with me. My brother is a warrior but I can't get his lazy ass to do pvp to get geared up (he just recently hit 70). So I think you will win that race

BM hunter rogue > warrior drood. I'm going to get one good chance at the beginging of the season to take the lead while both teams are in the same bracket.

Well you have a lot more arena experience than I do but just from reading the official forums and seeing how good warrior druid can be, well I'm glad I'm a druid.

I wont be doing any arena. But I am psyched I will get my claws on S-2 uber welfare epics! I have my [Gladiator's War Staff] and about 50 of each mark and 20k honor stocked up after that purchase. Any one know or have any guesses at what the s-2 welfares are gonna cost?
