Shadowmeld/Perception = best arena racials

1. Shadowmeld needs a 2 minute cooldown.

Having to be in melee range to stop someone from Shadowmeld drinking is beyond overpowered when used every time the player gets OoC.

The abuse of Feign Death>Drink>Shadowmeld is beyond broken due to hunters being able to CC/vipersting with the mana regained from 1-2 ticks of drink accompanied by the fact hunters can drop combat at will.


2. Perception should not stack with other stealth detection modifier buffs I.E. Paranoia.

Currently Perception gives a TEN LEVEL stealth detection modifier, for classes like Resto/Balance Druids and Combat/Mutilate Rogues this means you're trying to hide from someone that is perpetually level 80.

Now, compare Perception to other stealth detection bonuses currently in the game:

Since stealth level detection buffs stack, this means if the opposing team has Perception + Paranoia you're attempting to hide from a level 86 player in which is moving at 200% speed on a mount in a enclosed area.


2.1 Mounting should remove Perception buff.

Perception buff increases stealth detection modifier is too much to allow players to search an enclosed arena for 20 seconds while moving 200% move speed.


2.2 Perception stealth modifier should be reduced.

Upon activation of Perception the stealth detection modifier should decay stealth detection modifier by one level every two seconds upon the initial activation of Perception.

Perception @ 20 seconds receives a stealth detection modifier of 10 (current)
Perception @ 18 seconds receives a stealth detection modifier of 9
Perception @ 16 seconds receives a stealth detection modifier of 8
etc.
