Well recently I was nearly recruited to the best guild on the server, but for now was declined because they were having some guild issues because of IRL stuff. But they still took me to BT once, and now last night I got to raid Sunwell Plateau! I was pretty excited and surprised because normally I figure if they're doing BT I might get to go, if they do Sunwell then no way, but they were 1 short so invited me to go. We didn't get very far, cleared all the trash up to Kalecgos and got 3 or 4 attempts in on him but one of the tanks was having internet issues and on that fight a DC can wipe you. Unfortunately I was having net issues as well so I got DC'd during one of our attempts but luckily was not the reason for us wiping. I don't expect I'll get to go anymore with this guild because they are going to be making a final push for KJ, but damn it was cool being there.
Your like me, I hate using action bar addons. They are too annoying to have to set up, and the regular action bars work perfect when you turn them all on. Your set up is pretty much like mine, but I had A LOT more because I was the OT in my guild. I had one, I think it was Naturcastbar, where you can see all active countdown timers in the area on your screen, and you can seperate them by category, like: buffs on you, buffs on enemy, buffs on allies. It knows when something important is cast (like the MT's shield wall) and then it puts a countdown timer on your screen for the time that its active and also for how long till it cools down. I also had addons for raid bosses that said exactly when they were going to use an ability and had a countdown timer to when it gets used. All different kinds of addons...
The one thing that annoys me and I want to find out how to change it, hopefully without having to download an addon. At the top of the action bars is the class keys (bear/cat/seacow form) and I want to find out how to hotkey them to F1/F2/F3 but I can't find them in the keybinding section.
I probably would use an action bar addon to condense things a bit, but since I sometimes go resto its annoying to keep changing which spells I have out, so for now its good enough. I also use an addon DoTimer for dots and hots, its just nothing is ticking currently in that pic.
Hopfully they're well geared they wont make it past brute-alice unless every DPS they bring can push 2000 dps...not even kidding not to mention the moment you lose 1 dps you pretty much wipe...brutal much?
Well they had cleared up to Twins, they had their last raid week this past week and cleared up to Twins so nothing new. I'm wondering if any guild on my server will down KJ, with them done raiding and the best horde guild xfered, the 2 best guilds are only 2/6.
