I just started playing wow 2 months ago, and used Joanna's Horde leveling guide as a guide, but didn't follow it completely. My character, Kharalyte (a female Troll hunter) is level 31 and already has 105 gold. I've donated about 10 gold to random people online.
Right now, my account is on suspension since I haven't paid the subscription. I am currently moving from Texas to Utah and don't have time to play anyhow, so it's all good i guess.
Welcome RedMatrix! Glad to have you here on the forums. Quite an impressive amount of gold for your level! By the time I was level 40 I still didn't have the ~100g needed to buy my mount (but had a 70 cousin to borrow from). You must know how to get the most from your professions.

Yeah, thanks! I am a miner/blacksmith. I can mine Silver, Iron, Copper but that's all. I need 2 more points to mine Gold but I can't get mining skills off of those veins I mine anymore. also, I can't get points off of making bars either. TTYTT, it's pissing me off. I've run into a couple of gold and mytrhil veins and can't mine them.
Hmm, thats weird that your skill won't go up. I wonder if you're just getting unlucky and it still can go up, its just taking a while. For your bsing, what color are the different skills in the interface? Yellows can still increase but don't always, not sure if green can increase, and orange always do. You may already know all of this but just in case you don't.
i don't know what you're talking about with colors. They are blue bars. My reputation bars are green/amber. Before I could mine silver, I had to get 100 skill points, and copper veins weren't increasing my skill, just iron. Now iron doesn't increase me... Silver doesn't seem to, but it may be a numbers game.
he means when you go to make items. the name of the item in the bs'ing interface will be various colors depending on the chance of providing the next level of that profession
