It will say "this is a very fast mount" in the description, and the item will be epic. I assume the black battlestrider is the pvp mount? If so then yes.
I have both of these, yes they are the same speed. Level 30 mounts go 60% level 60 mounts go 100% level 70 non-epic flying mounts go 60% and epic flying mounts go 280% and netherdrakes and a few other mounts go 310% but they are hard to get.
