Black Temple

Until 2.4 comes out Black Temple is the last raid in the BC progression. Has anyone here raided it? Or how about anyone even on your server? On Demon Soul by far the best guild is a horde guild, You must be critting me. They're the only ones that have downed Illidan afaik. On the alliance side probably the best guild Veritas has started it but not downed him last I heard. Most people on Demon Soul will never see Illidan, its unfortunate. I hope before Wrath comes out I get the chance to give it a run.

We've had two guilds on both sides who have downed Illidian, if I remember correctly, on Hellscream. We've even got a NE rogue who has both of the Warblades of Azzinoth, which amused me. I've never gotten to go there (or any raid) yet, and probably won't before the X-pac comes out.

Wow, yeah I've seen screenshots of players who have both blades but I've never seen them in-game. That would just be amazing to have those.

I remember when I first saw the guy, he was sitting in the Scyers bank in Shatt, and I just walked right past him. Then it registered in my mind that he had those strapped to his back, and I turned around and stared at him. Then I burst out laughing, and took a screenshot.

I have a friend on a EU server who is half way through BT now...or, even further.
Hes the same guy I was talking of that has just got the war mount from timed ZA runs.
He send me vids of his guilds runs and it so interesting to watch.

Me and 5 guildies slipped through the hole and into BT the other day....we killed 2 of the trash mods right at the very beginning andgot a primidorial (sp) shard....we then all got killed.
But..we took the shard back and put it in the GB as our "first BT" loot

I doubt ill ever see the inside of black temple. CBK's focus is and always will be PVP as were far too casual to ever make that kind of raid progression. On my server I know of two guilds running black temple but im not sure of the progress tbh. As far for ally guilds ive no clue! We ran another kara grp tonight for giggles and cleared upto and including shade. During that time we had to swap out 4 players due to work and other real life commitments so the chances of us getting 25 of us in one spot, sober and with enough time on our hands to even do grulls is pretty much non existent.

The biggest time waster in guild raiding is swapping out and pugging I have found.

We are ontrack to 3 Kara teams now and luckily I am one of the founding memebers, so i have a permanent place in K1. We always have a full team and so we can clear the whole of Kara in one sitting now as we all know each fight really well...but the other 2 teams somethimes struggle with members as a lot of people do the "show up an hour after starting time"

I know its just a game and real life will and should always take precedence BUT we have group calendar....and if you reply saying your avail able for the raid...then be there!! Hehehe

We always state that first pull will be 11am...which really needs you need to be online and have all the pots/elixirs etc you need ready for summon at say 10:45.
it amazes me that ppl turn up at 12 and say..."ok..ready for summon now"

Yup..the key to clearing kara and possibly any other raid in good time is a dedicated raiding group that raid togther often and can stay the duration

P.S: I love all the fights up to and including Aran.
I hate prince......because his infernals suck.

There very nice only thing that sucks is that a majority of rogues with them arnt very good in pvp.......and yes pvp is the only thing that matters
