What is more helpful to a raid group, tank or healer?

Is a priest more helpful or a full def tank?

depends im in a raiding guild so i plan to make alts to tank and heal but it really depends on why ur making the char

2 healers per 1 tank..

healers are more important most of the time...most instances you can run with an offtank but other than short easyones like ramps which you can do an all DK run you have to have a healer no matter what...as for raids im not sure...i have never ran a raid

Tanks are rarer than healers but healers play a very important role in araid becuase a tank cannot last without a healer... But then again with aggro all over the place the healer will soon die. It all depends on the guild you are joining/ the instance itself/ and the realm you currentlty play on. The best suggestion i can make is dual spec so u can tank and heal.

You need a tank and a healer for most healers. for 10 man's you would want 1 tank 1 0T and 2 healers 3 ranged and 3 melee.

I think healers are more important because without healers, tanks Can't run difficult instances, while with proper heals, you may not need a full on tank

Tanks are more of a helping thing especially if you want to do it fast but to do raids and group things healers are superior.
