Raid gear

Has anybody started on their tier 4 or higher gear yet? Not being keyed yet I don't have any of mine but I definitely want to start running kara so I can work on tier 4 and eventually move on to 5 and 6.

Not on either of my 70 characters, no. Never been in a raid situation yet, besides that time we raided Darnassus (which was awesome).

heh I can see that being awesome, Darnassus would be sweet to do because it'd be pretty easy if you had a good group and you could control it for a while probably since its mostly lowbies there.

We probably would have controlled it if we hadn't ended up abandoning it after killing the two leaders (Tyranade and Arch Druid Fandal Staghelm or whatever his name is). The server shut down two minutes after we finally killed the Arch druid, so we didn't get to hold it for long. I also didn't want to log in and be inside Darnassus when I'm horde, so I hearthed away quickly after we killed him.

Ive got my t4 gloves and some gear from kara, not too much, hopefully ill get the t4 helm so I can get the set bonus.

I just went to Kara on Sunday, and we didn't even manage to get to a boss. Our group was terrible. I, being a ret pally, a friggen ret pally was in second or first on the dps charts the entire time, when I'm still half wearing tanking gear. All in all, it was an embarassment, while I was hoping to get some gear (not that there's much for dps plate wearers in Kara), I ended up with nothing.

That sucks Pat. That was your first kara run right? Hopefully you'll get a better group next time.

Yeah, that was my first Kara run. Thanks though, I do hope the next one goes better, and it should as long as I don't group with the same people.

i have my one t4 peice, the pants. passed on the gloves because my spellfire set is t5ish. i should be getting my t5 shoulders soon...

I think he's on a PVE server, for some reason you can't transfer from a PVE to a PVP.
