Capital City raids

Has anyone taken part in or experienced a capital city raid on ironforge or orgrimar or the like? I remember sometime last year I believe either IF or SW was under horde control for like 5 minutes but I wasn't online when it happened. I've never taken part in one myself but I imagine it would be quite epic to have an army as large as the one you would need to pull it off.

I help take out Darnassus once. But that's not really a capital city, since the only less populated major city is Exodar on the alliance side. It was a lot of fun though.

I helped do a small one on Orgrimar once, but it didnt go so well. The other day about 20 of the best horde players on our server raided IF. They didnt really control it, but they definatly killed tons of alliance.

Ive raided Ogrimmar (Fully) Thunder BLuff (fully) and raided till the basement of UC (Undercity). Plus Xroads which is a easy one to raid by urself at 70.

Ah yes, I did xroads back b4 tbc, it was fun until lots of 60's started showing up.

I have taken part in a massive stormwind one once.....it was fun until my pc lagged out and I got dc anyway

We have done small ones, like southshore and duskwood (whats the town there? I forget)

I have never been around when any of our cities have been raided like Org or UC, but I have heard the UC isnt difficult, you apparently just go in through the sewers.

A bit of good world pvp...nothing like it

we actually made it down that far and jumped into the instance and started looting it
