once again. help is needed

alright. changed from a warrior to a paladin. im level 26. putting almost all of my skills in ret. Im somewhat hopning to be decent at PVP. but im still using a 2 handed mallet. and the attack speed of it is really slow and its botherin me. so i need some suggestions. should i change it up to something diffrent ( axe,sword,sword w sheild, etc.) or should i just roll with the 2hand mallet and hope i find something w a better attack speed in the end? suggestions please thanks

When you're leveling it's not really that big of a deal what gear you use I don't think. Instead of looking for a specific weapon just choose the one that is best stats-wise regardless of whether it is a sword or anything else.

Actually, Paladins would prefer a Slow weapon for PvP if that's what you're interested in, and even if not, slow weapons are best for leveling as well.

Since Seal of Command is your primary seal that you will be using while leveling up and while PvPing, you want to make the most out of it.

Seal of Command is a 7 PPM move, or so it used to be. That means that in 1 minute you will get 7 Procs from SoComm. In order to maximize the damage from SoComm Procs you want a slow, hard hitting weapon.

Of course, this doesn't mean that you should refuse to take a 2.6 speed 2h Axe if the Dps on the Axe is significantly higher than the dps of a 3.8 speed 2h mace.

I would stick with the mace (mallet). It has very good attack power and seems to be the best for retribution paladins.

Ya, I wouldn't worry too much about items and gear while leveling, the quests and mobs rewards will continually help you out with that.

Even if you think your falling behind gear wise don't worry about it you level along just fine with what the game provides, it's better to concentrate powering your way to level 80 as fast as you can,

then you can go gear farming
