Why So Few Healers?

Howdy,

One of the largest problems plaguing dungeon players has to be lack of healers. The groups easily fill up with DPs and Tank classes. Everyone seems to wait around trying to find group healers. Creating a good group healing class (Priest or Druid maybe) could be a great way to always have a group and make extra gold. Why not give your healer the enchanting profession and really get the gold going?

So, What's keeping you from making a healing class? It could only help!

I play a druid but for raiding I am generally Balance spec. However for PvP I like to go resto, and I have healed for raids as well. I don't mind healing for pve, but I actually think healing in pvp is fun, I usually only heal in pve if the group needs a healer to get going.

i am currently working on a priest who is lvl 62 now and i have noticed what u have noticed is a lot more people straying from their healers for their dps classes (spits on ground "peons") because they they're alot of healers out there and who cares but to many people thought that so now its explosion of dks and dps and not enuf healers and personally it rocks for me

It's fairly annoying. The guild can wipe out every week at patchwork (NAX). If they had a few more healers 1-2, it would be done each time. The "explosion" of DK's and DPS is crazy. Its very odd to see ppl asking for DPS at OGR. I can't rem the last time I saw groups needing DPS to launch.

On my server, I'm noticing a wave of healers coming around now, especially priests.

It seemed to me that everyone made a DK, decided to DPS with it, and now everyones rushing to make healers.

Now when I group up for instances, its impossible to find a tank. (albeit I'm not high enough level on this character to raid, etc)

I went from DPSing with my Warlock, then made a tank-DK (which I regret leveling tbh) and now I made my priest for the very exact reason you were saying.
